I had a play around with all the software to remind myself the different techniques that i can use:
- Applying Transitions
- Trimming
- Panning and Zooms
- Arranging/resizing clips
- Using Envelopes
- Slowing down or Speeding up clips
- Video Overlays
- Transparency and Opacity
- Applying Video effects (2D filter effect, 3D filter effect, colour correction)
- Adding/animating text
As well as experimenting with the programme myself, I found the Serif MoviePlusX5 user guide helpful to expand my knowledge further and explore the most effective techniques that would be appropriate to use for my music video.
