Theorist - Andrew Goodwin's key conventions

There are certain theories/conventions that'll help the production of my music video. 

The theorist I explored was Andrew Goodwin and the key aspects/conventions he believes to be critical are:

• Thought Beats - seeing the sound in your head
• Narrative and Performance
• Star Image
• Relation of visuals to the song
• Technical aspects of the music video. 

This means to me I need to:

• Create a relationship between lyrics and visuals - form the story. 
• Create a relationship between the music and the visuals. Involve the artist within the music video, linking will keep the audience intrigued. 
• Create images that will attract the audience and create a memory. 
• Illustrate, Amplify, Disjuncture - Promote the song through the video. 
• Portray technical aspects; 

Think carefully about: shots, speeds, movement, angles, special effects, mise-en-scene, and beats and cuts.
