Trip to Devon

On my trip to Devon I visited a number of different seaside locations including:

• Croyde
• Woolcombe
• Saunton Sands
• Bude
• Widemouth Bay

The reasons I visited these beaches in particular, is because they are all popular surfing and holidays spots. I felt they were beaches that were popular for the seaside activities; shrimping, surfing, bodyboarding, dog walking, buckets and spades, ball games, kites etc.


The shots I completed were:

• The close-up on different shoes at the beach. 
• A medium close-up of children playing with their buckets. 
• Medium Close-up of teenagers shrimping
• Medium shot of surfers in the sea
• Establishing shot of different beaches
• Tester close-up shot of writing in the sand
• Medium shot of children playing with a kite
• Medium shot of a dad and his son playing with a ball. 

These were all tester shots, and I will need to re-do many of them for my final shooting.


This post has allowed me to see what filming I have got done, and what i need to do next. I need to continue gaining more shots from my storyboard, so i can meet my rough edit version by Christmas.
